LAPREAD, Mattie, a resident of Tuskegee, AL,
died Monday, November 6, 2000. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 11,
2000 at 11:00 am from Walker Chapel AME Zion Church, Tuskegee, AL. Interment will
follow in the churchyard cemetery. McKenzie's Home Staff directing. Her
survivors include three sons, Leroy (Edna), Alvin (Margaret) and Jack, all of
Clearwater, FL; two devoted granddaughters, Brenna LaPread and Ladell LaPread both of
Tuskegee, AL; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law and a host of
other loving relatives and friends. The Montgomery Advertiser, November 8,
2000 LEE, Marie, a resident of Tuskegee, died
Thursday, March 9, 2000. The funeral was Saturday March 11, from Elizabeth Baptist Church.
Ft. Davis with Rev. Steven Carson officiating. Interment followed in church cemetery.
McKenzie's Funeral staff directed. Her survivors include three nieces she raised as her
own children; Dorothy Chambliss, Doris (Fredrick) Bell and Brenda Smith all of Tuskegee;
and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The Tuskegee News,
March 16, 2000 LONG, Lillie, age 81, a resident of
Tuskegee, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999 at her residence.. Funeral was Thursday, Dec. 9,
from Tyson Chapel AME Zion Church, Society Hill C community Burial followed in St. Paul
Baptist Church Cemetery, Society Hill Community. Burton's Funeral Home Staff directed. She
is survived by a number of relatives and friends. The Tuskegee News,
December 16, 1999 LYNCH, Robert Sr., a resident of
Notasulga, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999 The funeral was Tuesday, Dec. 21 from St. John
Baptist Church, Notasulga with Rev H.S. White officiating Interment followed at the
church, McKenzie's Funeral Home staff directed. His survivors included a devoted wife,
Bessie Lynch, Notasulga; two sons, Robert Lynch Jr., Loachapoka and Erique Lynch, Auburn;
two daughters, Kila Veal, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Phoebee Lynch, Loachapoka; his mother,
Edna Lynch, five brothers four sisters; five grandchildren; two sisters- in-law, and a
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Tuskegee News,
